and ordinary moments that ask me to stop long enough to put words around them.
Dignity is not pretending nothing has changed. It is acknowledging the reality of the body and life we have now without shame, apology, or hiding — and meeting that truth with care.
Writing, painting, stitching, and making are not separate from how I live. They are some of the primary ways I return to myself when life pulls me away.
