“Bubbe” is the Yiddish word for grandmother. For me, it evokes the image of a wise and loving elder—

omeone whose presence brings warmth, comfort, and the feeling that you are welcome.

That feeling became the heart of these pillows.

Each Bubbe Medicine Pillow begins with one of my original paintings.

The artwork is translated into cloth and framed with soft velvet ruffles.

Organic cotton, silk velvet, color, and texture are chosen as much for how they feel as for how they look.

These are pillows to lean into. To hold against your body when you need a little comfort. To tuck beside you when you read or rest. To reach for simply because something soft and beautiful feels good to hold.

Each one is made to order, with the small variations that come from something created by hand.
