Machine wash in a front loading washer, on a gentle cycle with sulfate free soap.
These will get softer with each wash.
I recommend a sulfate free fabric softener if you want your blanket to soften even more.
Dry on a medium heat and remove immediately. The natural texture of the cotton will crinkle with washing.
