What if Healing Isn't About Getting Better?

For most of my life, I believed healing was about fixing something.Getting stronger. Becoming more whole, more functional, more like the person I was “supposed” to be.

But what if healing isn’t about getting better?

What if it’s about becoming truer?

Not returning to who I was before the pain—

but uncovering the parts of me that have always been real beneath it.

Not overcoming what happened, but learning how to live inside my body with more presence, more honesty, more compassion.

Healing, I’m learning, is not linear. It doesn’t follow a timeline.

It doesn’t look like progress from the outside.

It looks like slowing down. Like letting go of the masks. Like grieving the parts of you that had to harden just to survive. It looks like rest. Stillness.

Saying no even when no one understands.

This video came through as a whisper from the deeper layers of that truth. An offering from the middle of the journey—not the end.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re failing because you’re still hurting-

If you’ve ever asked yourself why you’re not better yet,

this is for you.
