Textiles
Medicine For Your Body and Soul
These pieces arise from the same ground as my paintings and writing — lived experience.
Cloth became another language for working with what moves through a life: texture, weight, and material holding what has been felt and lived.
This is not a product line but a body of textile art unfolding as part of an ongoing creative practice.
Throughout these pieces I use the word “medicine” in its older sense — something that nourishes, restores, and brings comfort to body and spirit.

These works are meant to be lived with.
The Nature of This Work
Soul Wraptures and other textile pieces arise slowly.
They are often one-of-a-kind or created in small, limited forms.
Some are shaped through direct collaboration; others emerge from the same listening that guides my paintings.
Each piece carries a moment of remembering — something lived that has found form through cloth.
The Role of These Pieces
These works are not decorative objects.
They are part of my creative practice in the same way my paintings and writing are.
Each piece is shaped slowly and with attention, with the intention that it will be lived with rather than simply displayed.
They are meant to be used — held, worn, rested with, leaned into — becoming part of the atmosphere of a space and the life of the person who receives them.
Cloth remembers what hands have always known.
Forms of the Work
Soul Wraptures
Textile works created as embodied art — meant to be worn, held, or lived alongside. These are creations for cocooning.
Bubbe Medicine Pillows
Pieces carrying threads of lineage, memory, and continuity. Offering the feeling of pure love, comfort and warmth.
Bubbe Medicine Blankets
Like a tender kiss of cotton, these blankets feel as if the wings of a angel against your skin. Pieces that carry lineage, memory and love.
Spirit Medicine Pillows
With the same essence as the original Bubbe Pillow, these offer the feel of rustic linen and frayed edges associated with nature.
Wearable Pieces
Some pieces become garments — cloth meant to be worn, carried, and lived with.
Availability
These works are created slowly and in small numbers.
Some pieces become available directly through the site, while others arise through conversation or custom process.
If a piece speaks to you, you are welcome to explore what is currently available or reach out with an inquiry.
The Work Continues in Other Forms
The textiles are one thread of the work.
Other threads take form through writing and painting.
