Studio Policies
To ensure clarity for those purchasing work from the studio, the following policies outline how orders, shipping, and studio practices are handled.
Studio Orders
Each piece created in the studio is either one-of-a-kind or limited edition. Because of the nature of handmade work, slight variations in texture, color, or detail may occur and are considered part of the character of the piece.
If you have questions about a particular work before purchasing, you are always welcome to reach out through the contact page.
Availability
Many works offered through the studio are one-of-a-kind or limited editions. Because of the handmade nature of the work, availability may change without notice as pieces are sold.
Occasionally a piece may return in a slightly different form or material, but each work retains its own individual character.
Color and Representation
Every effort is made to photograph and present each piece as accurately as possible.
Because screens and devices display color differently, slight variations between what you see on your screen and the actual piece may occur. Natural fabrics and handmade processes may also introduce subtle differences in texture or tone, which are part of the character of the work.
Processing Time
Some pieces are ready to ship, while others are created or finished once an order is placed.
When a piece requires additional time before shipping, this will be noted on the product page whenever possible. Please allow additional time for handmade work, especially during busy studio periods.
Shipping
Orders are typically shipped within 5–10 business days unless otherwise noted on the product page.
Shipping times may vary depending on location and carrier schedules.
Once an order has shipped, a tracking number will be provided when available.
International shipping may be subject to customs duties or import taxes, which are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Returns
Because most pieces are handmade or produced in small quantities, all sales are considered final.
If a piece arrives damaged or there is an issue with your order, please contact the studio within 7 days of delivery so the situation can be addressed.
Commissions & Special Orders
From time to time I accept commissions or special orders for certain pieces. Because each work is created through a process of listening and response, commissioned pieces are approached as a collaborative exploration rather than a fixed design request.
If you are interested in a commissioned piece, please reach out through the Contact page to begin a conversation about the work you are envisioning.
A non-refundable deposit may be required before work begins. Once the piece has been completed and approved, the remaining balance will be due prior to shipping.
Because commissioned and special-order pieces are created specifically for the individual client, these works are not eligible for return or exchange.
While I will always listen carefully to what you are hoping for, the final form of the piece ultimately emerges through my creative process.
Care & Materials
The textiles created in the studio are made from natural fabrics chosen for their softness, durability, and sensory qualities. Many pieces combine materials such as organic cotton gauze, linen, and silk rayon velvet.
To preserve the character of these fabrics, gentle care is recommended.
Most pieces may be washed in a front-loading washing machine using a gentle cycle with no agitation. After washing, they may be air dried or refreshed using the steam-fresh setting in a front-loading dryer.
Avoid high heat or traditional agitator-style washing machines, as these can be too harsh for the natural fibers and velvet trim.
Because each piece is handmade, small variations in texture and finish are part of the character of the work and should be embraced as part of the life of the piece.
With thoughtful care, these pieces are meant to be lived with and enjoyed for many years.
Privacy
Any personal information provided through purchases, contact forms, or mailing list sign-ups is used solely for communication related to the studio and its work.
Your information will never be sold or shared with third parties.
