SHIPPING AND RETURNS

• We ship via FedEx ground in most instances.

 

• Shipping is free on all orders within the contiguous United States. 

 

• For expedited shipping please contact me for any additional charges. 

 

• Please contact me for shipping costs to Alaska and Hawaii and for all international orders.  

 

• Natural fibers have inconsistencies which make each piece unique.  There will be nubs in linen, frayed edges, color variations and by the very nature of being handmade, imperfections.  These are art pieces, not mass-produced items.  

 

• Colors will vary according to availability of fabrics, the dye lot of those fabrics and the aesthetic choices of the artist when creating your piece.  I strive to stay as close to the photo you see on the website as possible, however, due to the nature of natural fibers and availability of some fabrics some colors might vary slightly.  Also, different monitors show colors differently. You can be assured that any of the fabrics chosen will reflect my artistic vision and stay true to my commitment to quality.  

 

• Each piece is made to order. If for any reason your item arrives damaged please save the packaging and take a photo of the damage and the package for insurance purposes.  Please contact me immediately in the unlikely event that this happens.  I will remake your item as soon as a claim has been filed and accepted.

 

• The art you see on the pillows and throws comes from my own paintings.  I own the rights to the designs.  They are not for reproduction.  

 

• My paintings shown on www.dkhillardart.com can be applied to any of the pillow styles and throws. Please add another 4-6 weeks to production if fabric needs to be designed and ordered.  This is considered a custom order which requires a 50% non-refundable deposit with your order.

 

• All measurements are approximate since these are handmade items.  

 

• Fabric care is discussed on each product page.  All pillows are dry clean only.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES   

You may return a purchase with the following guidelines:

All returns must be initiated within 14 days of receipt.

Exchanges follow the same guidelines as returns.

Returns must be in the original packaging with all tags attached.

Buyer pays return shipping. 

All returns must be fully insured for the purchase price.

Custom orders are considered a final sale.  Should you have an issue with a custom order please contact me immediately.
